What to do when the Star lead leaves or changes

Every organisation must have a Star lead in place at all times to manage contact with the helpdesk. 

This is a role which has a number of responsibilities and has access to view, edit and delete any and all data entered onto the organisation's Star Online account, including sensitive data.

If the Star lead is leaving the organisation, or if they are no longer able to fulfil the role, then you will need to assign a new person to be the Star lead.

If you are the Star lead

If you are the Star lead you can handover the Star lead role yourself.

If the Star lead has left the organisation, or is unavailable

If your Star lead has left without handing over to somebody else, or is otherwise unavailable, follow these instructions to set up a new Star lead.
