How to process Star deletion requests as a Star lead

Only Star leads can action Star deletion requests for an account. Here's how this is done.

Deletion AlertDeletion requests appear on your dashboard as alerts and you can
also opt to receive these via email, either as a digest (weekly or daily)
or as they happen.

To process them, click on the alert or on the link in the email. This will take you to a page displaying all outstanding Star deletion requests.

If you have opted for managers to approve Star deletion requests before they are submitted to you, only those that managers have approved will appear on this list and on your email and dashboard notifications.

At the top of the page you will see some options to filter the list and to monitor deletion requests. Scroll down to the list of deletion requests, below these filter options to view the request.

To review the full request, click on the reason given and this will display any additional information provided by the colleague submitting the request.

Clicking on the bin iconIf you are happy to action the deletion, click on the bin icon to begin the process.

Delete confirmation
You will then be asked to confirm that you have the correct Star and to type DELETE in a text box. This helps avoid mistakes. Once you have entered DELETE, click on the red delete button below to delete the Star from your organisation's account.

If you are not sure this is the correct Star, click on the cancel button and come back to this when you are more certain.

You can now choose to either return to your dashboard or to continue to process more deletion requests.
