How to give a worker manager permissions

The Star lead can give workers manager roles at relevant services within your organisation's Star Online account. This will allow the person to carry out additional actions, such as adding workers,  and to access more information, such as caseload reports for colleagues. To do this:

  1. Giving permissions biggerLog in as Star lead, or ask your organisation's Star lead to do this for you, referring them to this page
  2. On the dashboard, select 'view colleagues'
  3. Then find the relevant colleague and select 'view/edit' to access their profile
  4. When their profile page has loaded, select 'edit profile'
  5. You will now have access to options to give the colleague manager roles at each of the services in your organisation's account. There are two lists of services with check boxes, one for worker permissions and another for manager permissions
  6. Tick each of the services that you want the person to have a manager role at,
    and you will see that this automatically
    gives them worker access, too
  7. Once you have made your changes,
    save and let the person know that they
    now have manager access.
