How much information is kept on service users?

Not very much. The only vital piece of information is the unique ID, which allows you to link the person and the paper or digital file that your organisation retains to their Star Online data, e.g. Star Charts. It is possible to also add the following to provide enriched reports and benchmark your organisation’s outcomes with others doing similar work with similar client groups.

The additional, optional information you can retain on the Star Online is:

  • Date of birth
  • Age range
  • Gender
  • Ethnicity
  • Support need
  • Star readings*
  • Star Notes
  • Star Action Plans

*clearly it would be unlikely that your organisation would add a service user to the Star Online without wishing to collect Star readings for them, however, this remains optional in the sense that you are not obliged to add this information in order to add the individual to the system.
