How much does the Star Online cost?
The Star Online costs £33.00 per user account, paid annually in advance, with a minimum annual licence fee of £660 for up to 20 users. There is a non-refundable set up fee of £75.00.
User accounts include "workers" and "managers" and "Star leads"*. Organisations are required to set up a user account for each colleague who completes the Stars that are to be entered onto the Star Online, as well as for each colleague who accesses and enters data on the Star Online**.

Sign up to the Star Online
* Star lead users manage the organisation’s Star Online account as a whole and can access support from the Star Online helpdesk. Each organisation account is permitted one Star lead user (or one per 100 users in larger organisations). Find out more about the Star lead role.
** Where Stars are completed on paper by one colleague and entered onto the system by another, both colleagues must have a Star Online user account. All Star readings entered onto the Star Online must be associated with the colleague who supported the service user to complete it. This requirement provides organisations with outcomes and management data and is a condition of use.
